Loss of A FriendThere was no worse feeling in the world than losing your best friend. It left a whole in your heart that not even time itself could heal. The bond between friends, best friends, is something that doesn't just disappear or dissolve easily no matter what the situation is that comes to break it. After years of laughs, tears, love and heartbreaks, nothing could erase the pain that was felt, not even ease it.
Roy couldn't help but live each day in pain. The memory of his friend, and the scene of his death- it was almost too much to take, but he continued to take it the best he could. On the outside he was strong, but on the inside he was weak. He continued on in his line of work, but he was broken. The office wasn't the same without him and walking the halls- empty. Life since his murder hadn't been the same, but his death wouldn't be in vain.

(It was Al's first winter since regaining his body. Mei had come back to resembool to spend the holidays with Alphonse. Mei was sitting on the couch while Al was making some hot chocolate in the kitchen.)

Al: I'm glad you came to see me Mei.you didn't have to come all this way.

Mei: I wanted to see you Alphonse. I wanted to see how you were doing. (Mei looks toward the kitchen)

Al: (comes walking out with two mugs of hot cocoa. He hands one mug to Mei) Be careful it's hot. (Alphonse sat down next to Mei) You're so sweet Mei, I'm doing fine. Although it does get cold like today.

Winry: Oh, if you and Al are sticking around I most certainly have to finish this. I wouldn't want to miss time with you guys since you're almost never home anymore.

Roy: (sitting and reading Alchemy books, the school bell rings and he packs them up. No sooner that he stands up, Riza at his side)

Riza: (at his side smiles and smiles and looks up) Come on Roy! You've studied all day at school, I saw you! Let's go to the park okay?

Roy: (in disbelief) *you've been watching me?* Okay we can go for a walk through the park.

Riza: Yay! (gravs Roy's arm) let's go! (smiles)

(Roy and Riza walk through Central until they reach the park. Once at the park Roy sits at a bench. Riza looks around and picks flowers)

Riza: (looks down, defeated) Why is Alchemy so important to you Roy? It's dangerous...you could get hurt.

Roy: (opens door of library) I want to become A State Alchemist. I'll be great one day!

Riza: Roy, you are great! You don't need a title to prove it.

Roy: (studying Alchemy at his desk)

Riza: (circling the room) Roy, why are you studying Alchemy...again? That's all you ever do. What's it like?

Roy: (kinda stuck in a concept and a bit frustrated, he calls Riza over) come here, I'll show you.

Riza: (giggles and skips over to Roy)

Roy: (scoots over, giving her room on the seat) Now sit down and look...

Riza: (sits down on the seat next to him)

Roy: (keeps one arm on the back of the chair uses the other to teach Riza) See, this is the transmutation circle I'll need for fire, the one your father showed me.

Ed and Winry were friends since they were little. Always trying to one up the other, yet their hobbies and talents were so completely unique which made them fight much much more. "Alchemy's a dog's profession!" she would say "It won't get you anywhere but in trouble!". "Auto mail is for men! Why don't you be a good little girl and do something they do!" Back and forth day after day they fought, but they were always around each other despite their differences. As day would turn into night and days passed to weeks, days months years, the feelings were the same. Always together, fighting, arguing, but together. (Ed was having the most horrifying nightmare)

*Nightmare*
(It began with the first Human Transmutation they performed. Al's body was being lost)

Ed: Alphonse!! Alphonse no! (Al's body was slowly being torn apart by multiple little black hands.)
Please don't take my brother I'll give you anything! Just give my brother back!

(Edward began to be torn apart at the limbs, then he passed out. When he "woke up" both his mother and Alphonse were gone. He was alone, all alone.)

Ed: Al? Alphonse? Where are you Alphonse?

(Ed looked all over and found Al in pieces upstairs)

Ed: Alphonse!! No! This is all my fault! (he went running Edward and Alphonse FMA 2 by *CourtneyMonroe

(it was like a slamming blow to what she though was reality. Everything she believed in her whole life was now shattered in minutes thanks to the audacity of bold young alchemist.)

Rose: Edward! You can bring him back can't you?

Ed: It's pointless Rose. Like I said before, nothing can bring him back. Move on Rose.

Rose: (fell into Edward's arms in tears) Edward! I loved him! I still love him and always will! I can't live without him!

Ed: (holding her) You're stronger than this Rose. You've lived this long without him. One day you'll see him again, but as for now get over yourself. Crying won't bring him back.

Al:(sits there a while wipes tears then walks after after brother. Finds him at mother's grave)

Ed: Were all we have left...nothings worth losing you...I know you're strong...I just...can't risk it (weeps over mothers grave)

(Roy had been working as part of the military for about a year now and continued to work as an apprentice to Berthold Hawkeye. Through Berthold, Roy met his love Riza who in early years would serve them tea as the worked. Now that they were older, Roy would occasionally take Riza out for dinner or a stroll around town. Now he had worked almost three years with Berthold, and still the only flames that were sparked were with Riza.)

Roy: Master, when will I be able to use flame alchemy? When can I try it out?

This starts with an Ed and Winry pair, then grows into an Al and Mei pairing.

(5 years after the promised day, things were getting back to normal. Furher Roy Mustang, after regaining his sight, worked to resolve previous conflicts with his wife Riza by his side. Thanks to Tim Marcoh's philosophers stone, Jean Havoc was able to walk again and regained his place by Roy's side. Gracia, better accepting of Hughes death, raised an 11 year old Elicia and led a pretty routine lifestyle. Lan Fan, Ling Yao, Mei Chang and Xiao Mei had been living happily back in Xing with Ling Yao as emperor. As promised he 5 years later FMA by *CourtneyMonroe

Hoenheim: I must go Trisha. I have to find what it is I'm looking for.

Ed: ...Daddy where are you going?

(Hoenheim was hurt by his own foolish thought of leaving, but he couldn't go back now. He turned away from his sons and walked out the door. He wasn't seen for months)

Ed: Mom! Mom! Al and I can help you get the vegetables!

Al: Can brother and I help you?

(since regaining his human body, Alphonse was spending alot of time with his brother. Now spending every waking second with someone who's obsessed with his girlfriend, since he no longer could preform alchemy, could get a little annoying. Edward was always going on and on about Winry, when he wasn't being cute or making out with her. Alphonse fell victim to his brother's boredom with no escape)

Ed: Hey Al, I think we should find you a girlfriend.

Al: I don't need a girlfriend brother. (blushes heavily) I'm not used to having my body yet.

Ed: Don't worry, we'll have you practice with Winry!

(sometime when they were a older, but not too old...)

(Ling, now old enough to understand his position, was given Lan Fan as his guardian as well as Fu. Several people were out for Ling's death especially later born princes that were envious of his seniority. One particular prince, # 34, was specially trianed and after anyone and everyone in his path. One day he found Ling alone and challenged him then.)

Prince 34: Ling Yao, you're an incompetant prince! I won't allow you the chance to search for immortality for your life ends here. (he charged at Ling and at a close distance drew his sword)

Ling and Lan Fan FMA 4Lan Fan was in recovery after having to cut her arm off. It seemed like forever she was lying in that bed, and not once had she seen Ling. Day after day she thought to herself, how am I supposed to keep an eye on him, and keep him out of trouble, if I don't know where he is? I can't even go to look for him. For what seemed like a long time she went without seeing him, until one day, he dropped by for a visit.

Ling sat next to her bed and watched her sleep, "I'm sorry Lan Fan."

She had only been resting with her eyes closed and at the voice she just heard became shocked and excited that the Young Master had come to visit her, after disappearLing and Lan Fan FMA 4 by *CourtneyMonroe

Ling and Lan Fan FMA-sometime when they were little tikes, like 7 or 8-

Since early days, the twelfth prince of Xing was always where he shouldn't be. His guardian Fu could never keep an eye on the young master for long before he would disappear, but he would always disappear to the same place. Alongside Fu's lonely granddaughter who lost her parents at an early age Ling was almost always found, unless he weaseled his was into the kitchen that is. Long before Lan fan understood Ling's title role, she was always at his side.

Ling and Lan Fan FMA 3It was inevitable that these two would be at it again once Wrath found out what had happened. Good things die young, unless you were Greed, and in that case you were a smooth talker and able to find yourself another cell in which to work from. Once the reunion of the two homunculus was in play, they skipped out on verbal communications and jumped right into combat. Mid battle with Wrath, Greedlin was utilizing both his and Ling's strengths.

"I thought I killed you once Greed!"

"I'm a much different Greed. This guy," gestures to his body, "was just as greedy as me, so Father let us join together."
